Job Description

Responsible for the architecture of the company's Infrastructure architecture. The role will be responsible for networking, firewalls, security, storage and compute in a high performance computing and high availability hybrid cloud environment.

Key Accountabilities:

Our Infrastructure Architects will own the architecture fo company's storage, compute, WAN and LAN services. Including HPC cluster, Weka cluster, Next Generation Firewall, Security SIEM solutions, AWS VPC's. You will take responsibility for ensuring solutions are resilient, robust and secure, whilst also developing standards and guidance for the adoption of cloud services.

You will work with product teams, DevOps and SysOps engineers to assist with designing & building out the infrastructure. Providing governance and oversight, whilst monitoring systems and providing proactive performance and cost optimisation support.

You will have responsibility of reviewing and supporting the testing of changes to networks, hosted systems & cloud configuration changes and you will perform reviews of deployed infrastructure solutions to ensure that best practices are adopted.

Essential Skills:

Deep knowledge & practical experience of private and public cloud infrastructure architecture is essential, as is a background of working on with HPC high performance solutions i.e. Weka.io / Luster Sfx , Mellanox , GPU NVIDA DGX. You must have experience of architecting and securing object stores i.e. Quantum / AWS S3 at Peta byte scale. You will possess the ability to architect secure, fault tolerant and scalable solutions, with a hands on expertise across technology infrastructure.

AWS certifications are highly desirable, as is experience of working with VMware, IAM Okta, Openshift and other architectural tools. You should also have experience of working with Python, Powershell, Terraform or similar.

Degree level qualification or equivalent

AWS certified architect professional / AWS Infrastructure architect Due to high volume we can only respond to candidates who meet the requirements
