Cloud Infrastructure Engineer / Specialist - Azure - Cannock + WFH - £45,000 + BenefitsTechnologies you will work with in this position - Azure Cloud PaaS/ IaaS, Azure Connect, Azure AD Windows Servers 2012 & 2016 2019, SCCM / SCOM, VMware, Hyper-V, Office 365, Active Directory, SQL, Hosted Cloud Datacentre, Storage Infrastructure, Physical & Virtual Server Estates.Up to £45,000 + Corporate BenefitsEstablished and well know company are seeking an Azure Cloud Infrastructure Specialist/Engineer for their Infrastructure Services teamWorking as a key player alongside a broader team you will support the Infrastructure Services Team in the development and implementation of Azure, departmental and business wide service improvements, plus the input of planning and technical remediation initiatives.Including a mix of BAU and Project work, your key tasks will involve LLD/HLD planning, scheduling and implementing all Change Requests and Maintenance activities for the team as well as on-going Root Cause Analysis.Your Key technical expertise will includeWindows Servers 2012,2016, & 2019MS Azure Cloud ExperienceMS Office 365, Active Directory, SQL, ExchangeVirtualisation, VMware, or Hyper-VStorage Infrastructure, SAN / NASHosted Cloud Datacenter, Physical & Virtual Server EstatesSCCM / SCOM,Dynamics 365 (Ideal but not essential)Your key requirements will include:Experience in the BAU, Shared Services or Commercial IT Services operationConfident in fault diagnosis across technologies & platforms and experience of rectifying faults within strict SLAsExtensive experience in the monitoring and maintenance of internal IT servers, systems platforms of servers and virtual environmentsConfiguring and maintaining monitoring tools and systemsKnowledge and experience across maintenance tool sets (e.g. SCCM, WSUS)Experience operating in a change control and configuration management environmentAbility to competently act as the technical point contact of escalation for incidentsThe ability to Investigate potential future technologies and solutions that may benefit the IT and hosting, storage or operating system estateExperience of using Project Management, Time Recording and Service Management Toolsets (e.g. ServiceNow, Remedy, LANDesk, WorkFront, etc)Experience using and reporting with enterprise grade data analysis tools.Experience of managing and maintaining anti-virus servers and solutions.Windows Server experience or certification in areas including AD, Group PolicyKnowledge of backup technologies (e.g. OSSV, DPM, Netbackup, Backup Exec)Professional Certifications or equivalent in the relevant field of expertiseMCSE, MCSACertified Azure AdministratorVMwareHyperVITILFor the successful candidate the client will offer a secure and stable working environment, an excellent salary and benefits package and a progressive career path.
