Cyber Security/Technical Product Manager
Fully Remote
£75,000 - £85,000 per annum


Im currently representing one of the fastest growing Cyber Security Specialist Consultancy who support some of the leading companies in the UK with secure networks, infrastructures and information.

Theyre looking to add a Cyber Security/Technical Product manager to the team who has a thorough understanding of Cyber Security needs and managed services to be an integral part of development the Cyber Security Services and solutions in the business. Your first main project will be building out the MDR service and vulnerability management.

Role & Responsibilities:

Development and management of vendor product solutions.
Technical Market research in Cyber Security platforms, services and solutions.
Introduction of new tools and platforms to add to the managed security services - SOAR, Security Incident Management, Threat Intelligence, service reporting and other tools.
Technical expertise to support business case development for managed services investments.
Prototyping of new solutions and managed service platforms.
Production of white papers and customer/market briefings on the evolution of security managed services and technologies in the context of the evolving threat landscape.


Knowledge & Experience:

5 years experience in SOC environment/managed security services.
Cyber Security services landscape - roles & functions within Enterprise Security Operations.
Understanding of operations processes to deliver world-class managed security services.
Cyber Security vendor solutions & services - Network Security, Web & Email security, SOAR, SIEM, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, ND, MDR, EPP & EDR.
Collaboration with other teams such as sales, SOC, engineering teams to obtain insights to provide opportunities and new solutions.

Good knowledge of security considerations and solutions - on-prem and public cloud architectures - Azure and AWS, Cloud Security Posture Management, Native security solution stacks, Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing (AWS Lambda or Azure Functions) and modern development paradigms such as DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD, SAST/DAST, etc.

Written and verbal communication skills - technical and non-technical.

Relevant Cyber Security and ITIL certifications.

It is key for this client to support learning and development amongst their employees offering internal learning platforms for different certifications paid for and promoted by management or work related training in your own time that can be expensed back as well as higher education diplomas etc.

Following continued success, with 180 people across the business, they had 45 starters join this year and work on a FULLY REMOTE basis. Youll have exposure to financial services and SME sector and be an integral person to shape the future of the business.
