Our client a leading organisation in their field, is creating a new UX role within the Software Engineering team. It includes the full range of UX including gathering and refining requirements for new products, creating designs that can be implemented by the team and analysing usage data to improve existing products. As UX Designer you will advise on the most effective ways to inject UX into the different parts of the Agile process, and also

Work with the product owners and users to identify requirements and user needs

Help the Scrum team understand the business requirements and design elements

Produce wireframes for proof of concepts, new applications and existing applications

Work with the business to deliver iterative UX designs for the software team to implement

Coach and support the Agile Business Analyst in UX skills and be coached in business analysis

Analyse usage data to identify improvements for existing products

Influence the business areas and their IT demands to ensure that their projects contribute to the company & IT strategies

To be considered for the role of UX Designer you will need to:

Have broad experience in UX, including UI design, and have good technical awareness. You are comfortable working in an Agile team

Be able to build strong relationships with peers in IT and end users

Have an analytical mind and creative flair which will allow you to take business requirements and translate them into an effective product that meets business end user needs.

Enjoy working in the unknown to help shape new solutions as well as tuning existing products to provide a better experience.

Be educated to degree level or equivalent

Have previous commercial UX Design experience

Have experience in UX for mobile applications and/or mobile-focussed web applications

Have broad understanding of software development and Agile
