Field Service Engineer

Field based, you should be based in South London or surrounds

Excellent salary plus Van, overtime at time and a half (paid door to door, anything above 8 hours/day paid as overtime)

Are you an Electrical/Electronic Service Engineer looking for a field based role offering a challenging and autonomous position?

The role is for a multinational household name and a leader in their field. The product is high tech and complex meaning you will challenged to troubleshoot across Electronic/electrical , mechanical and software engineering fields.You will be responsible for the troubleshooting, calibration, services, installations and repairs of complex metrology products at customer sites.

Excellent training and support will be provided and the client will try to keep most work to a local regional patch. However you must be prepared to work and solve problem's autonomously and to travel/stay away.

Therefore tasks will include: Responsible for meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfactionInstallations, repairs and maintains equipment in the field; provides customer training as required.Documents all inspections, maintenance, repair work and submits paperwork in a timely basis

To apply you should have: Qualifications in Electrical/Electronic/Electro-mechanical EngineeringExperience of fault finding/troubleshooting technical products in a customer facing roleExperience of working on electrical/electronics/pneumatic with some software/IT competenceWilling to work away from home (the client tries to keep staff within 2/3 hours drive from his home but this is not guaranteed)
