Linux Engineer Remote UK WfH to £85k

Linux Engineer / DevOps Engineer (AWS) *Remote UK WfH*. Do you have a strong knowledge of Linux combined with AWS experience? You could be progressing your career working on a modern tech stack where you'll be continually learning at a growing FinTech organisation.

As a Linux Engineer you will take ownership of DevOps activities for the UK in a varied role that will encompass troubleshooting, monitoring and performance analysis using tools such as Zabbix, ELK stack, system and library call tracing and network packet analysis. You'll act as the SME and escalation point and ensure that rigorous change, configuration, and release management processes are followed as well as driving the use of automation wherever possible.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home fulltime within the UK (or you can have a hybrid model working from the London office).

Requirements:

You have a strong knowledge of Linux including bash scripting skills

You have a strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, RDS, IAM, VPC, EKS

You have experience of working with Docker, Ansible and Jenkins

You have a good working knowledge of Apache Tomcat

You're collaborative and pragmatic, used to working in Agile teams remotely
