The Salesforce Commerce Cloud Solution Architect will work with both our project and support teams to provide clients with high quality development services. They will work with the team on new Salesforce Commerce Cloud projects, from initial business development and discovery phases through implementation and deployment of the completed project to ensure that both the process is followed and the solution that is delivered is consistent with development policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

*Leading the technical direction during design and development processes by driving decisions and coordinating efforts with the development team.

*Manage the scope and design of Salesforce Commerce Cloud centric eCommerce projects, working with clients and prospects to align technology solutions with their business strategies.

*Providing insight and effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders to demonstrate how the Salesforce Commerce Cloud solution will be leveraged to meet client business requirements on new projects.

*Provide technical oversight to the development team for them to complete development tasks successfully and securely.

*Diagnose and solve complex technical issues related to commerce implementation.

*Perform code reviews according to existing process standards and technical requirements.

*Act as a subject matter expert as it pertains to website architecture and work with cross-functional teams to help resolve recurring site issues

*Create technical specification documents containing use cases and diagrams used as a reference by our development teams for building the solution, our QA teams for writing functional tests and our support team prior to launch.

*Help guide and assist with implementation of the environments/architecture.

*Convert business requirements to Salesforce Commerce Cloud native functionality to reduce the need for customizations.

*Manage relationships with 3 party vendors that offer integrations with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, to ensure architectural and strategic fit.

*Support the sales team with product demos, responses to RFPs and project timeline estimation for potential prospects.

*Occasional travel for client meetings, Salesforce Commerce Cloud events in the region and jump starting projects

Job Requirements:

*5 - 8+ years of experience with the Salesforce Commerce Cloud Enterprise platform, Magento Cloud experience is beneficial

*Certified SFCC Architect B2C. B2B and SFDC Certifications beneficial

*Experience in both SFRA and Pipeline implementation

*Expert in Salesforce Commerce Cloud technical architecture concepts like multi-channel architecture, data modeling, Data Transfer and integration.

*A good understanding of the various components of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud

*Experience with the following project methodologies and tools Agile, Scrum, JIRA

*Strong experience with integrating Salesforce Commerce Cloud with 3rd party systems

*A good understanding of Requirements Management, design and Implementation of Salesforce Commerce Cloud and customized solutions, data integration and data migration methodologies

*Industry experience in ecommerce, both B2B and B2C commerce

*Excellent Knowledge in Enterprise Java, Design and Architecture patterns

*Strong knowledge of OOP (Object Oriented Programming) and RDBMS (Relational database management system) concepts

*Good knowledge in security and identity management

*Experience with following technologies APIs & Microservices, ERP, CRM, OMS, Cloud Computing

*Experience in defining solutions in component based architectures and process/rule-driven solutions.

*Incremental development/ refactoring approaches.

*Excellent Code version control and conflict management capabilities with Git

*Excellent build/ release/ deployment (full stack build vs incremental) management capabilities

*Great working knowledge in Jenkins, Maven, Ant like build & deployment (continuous integration) tools
