Security Engineer - Scripting / Python / Bash / ISO27001We have a long-standing partnership with an ever-growing financial services-based organisation in Reading who are looking to add to their Security team.
As part of an already established Security team, the successful Security Engineer would be joining in an internal capacity which will focus on developing the existing architecture of the overall security offering, working closely with both networking and DevOps departments.
The ideal Security Engineer will ideally come with the following experience:
Proven experience of providing security support / guidancePrevious web or application experience would be idealScripting exposure with either Python, Perl, PowerShell or similarExposure to Windows and ideally Linux Estates
Our client adapts a SecOps approach meaning there will the opportunity to really build upon any existing automation experience, or if it’s an area you’re yet to explore then it offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable skills within this area.
In return our client can offer the suitable Security engineer a starting salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000, an extensive benefits package, and flexible working, with the need to travel into the office limited to a few times a month, unless you’re after more that is.
