We believe in each individual's value and encourage applications from people of any age, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, disability, veteran status, and any other characteristic or identity.

It is the mission of every member of the WMG team around the world to create a nurturing environment for artists, songwriters, and the people behind the music - at every stage of their career. We strive to set WMG apart by embracing innovation - an integral part of our company's DNA.

Consider a career at WMG and be a part of one of the most influential forces in culture today.

A little bit about our team:

This is a unique opportunity to join Firepit Technology, Warner Music's Innovation and UX/UI & Development team within the WEA Artist & Fan Engagement group. An award-winning and future-facing department, it primarily builds customized campaign activations and applications for our artists and the Labels. The Firepit Tech team supports all of WMG's territories globally, delivering proactive innovation and development within a Fan Engagement context, based on business need and demand.

The department provides innovation design and build, and subject matter expertise, to Labels and Label squad leads. This role is housed in a team directly in Warner Music's London Headquarters - with our regular global Label commissioners including (but not being limited to) Atlantic, Warner Records, Parlophone, and Rhino.

Why this could be your next big break

You will join the existing award-winning team, comprising of a Head of Firepit, Lead UX/UI, and Full Stack Developers. You will also collaborate with a regularly used existing pool of freelance specialists, in areas such as AR and 3D. You will produce for our partners in the labels and Artist Services, bringing results driven and demonstrable UX diligence and awareness to your fan engagement UI designs.

Here you'll get to work on:

Design & Build for custom fan activations

Self-serve publishing tools for labels that provide fan engagement scale

UI for activations which our developers build, requiring Spotify API, Apple Music (et al) integrations

Graphic design and user journey visual assets for web and mobile games

The list above is not exhaustive, and newly devised formats that arise from ideation sessions, hack days, and individual suggestions are actively encouraged.

You will have:

Experience in a UX/UI role

A qualification in UX/UI

Strong communication and collaborative skills - also balanced with an ability to work in a self-directed autonomous manner

An efficient approach to multitasking

Experience working in high-paced deadline-oriented environments, with good estimation skills

An interest in the world of UX, UI, Front End, and tech innovation at large, and a passion for developing yourself within the team

Exceptional attention to detail

A passion for music; to bring one's best work to what you deliver for our artists

It would be music to our ears if you also had:

Essential

Adobe XD

Experience in an agency or inhouse creative/tech environment

Knowledge of a CMS web platform (for example: WordPress, Drupal)

Analytics-usage, driving design optimizations and A/B (e.g, Hotjar)
