IC Resources is partnered with a well backed startup who are changing the lives of tradespeople. Giving them the tools to excel in a competitive marketplace and open doors to win new business which would previously be unattainable.Their product isn’t just a job bidding platform but a full operating system for tradespeople that helps them serve customers, manage operations/invoicing and grow their business. The core product solves supply/demand issues, manages each tradesperson’s allocation and completion of work. There are already
thousands of tradespeople managing and booking jobs on the platform.
The current need is to add several Django and Python engineers to join their engineering team who are responsible for building the core platform. They are looking for someone who loves to build elegantly simple products, whilst considering quality and attention to detail.
As an early hire, you will be instrumental in designing and architecting the various systems. You will also have the opportunity of owning the products and their life cycles. Joining at this stage you will also be defining the engineering culture across the organisation.
The successful Django Developer will be genuinely passionate about developing products that will positively impact millions of people. Someone who loves working in teams and is motivated by owning products, from inception to delivery and beyond.
This is a FULLY REMOTE role with the team distributed throughout the UK. Eligibility to work in the UK is essential and strong communication skills are required (both written and verbal)
To be successful in the role the Python Developer will need exposure to the following stack:
Expertise in Python, any knowledge of Node.JS would also benefit.Commercial experience with Django and the Django REST FrameworkFull stack capability of working with React and/or React NativeExperience with AWS platforms and technologies.Exposure to SOA or microservice architecture design.
