IT Support Engineer

Exeter (Part Remote)

£25,000 - £30,000 + 33 days Holiday + Tech Scheme + Personal Professional Development Plan + Days Sick Pay + Training + Pension

Excellent opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to join a rapidly expanding Telecommunications and Networking Infrastructure specialist offering excellent training and progression opportunities and generous benefits package.

This company are experts in FTTP & FTTH fibre design and networking with technology lead solutions for rural towns. They utilise cutting edge technology and regularly invest into the upskilling of their employees to revolutionise broadband connectivity speeds across the UK.

In this role you will provide IT and Systems Support, monitoring and maintaining the existing systems. You will manage configuration and maintenance changes as well as supporting internal user systems and play a vital role within the growth and operations of the IT Support Team.

The ideal candidate will have experience responding to ticket enquiries and providing remote user support. You will have experience with troubleshooting issues relating to Active Directory, Office 356 & have a good understanding of Cyber Security. Ideally the candidate will have knowledge of AWS.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn new technologies, contribute ideas and solutions in a rapidly expanding and well established fibre specialist in an autonomous and varied role.

The Role:

*Managing Configuration and maintenance changes

*Managing and maintaining system user accounts

*Responding to user requirements via ticketing systems

*3 days in office 2 days remote

The Person:

*Commercial experience with remote desktop support/ 1st Line Support

*Experience with Office 365, Active Directory

*Knowledge of AWS
