Database Administrator / DBA London to £55k

Database Administrator / DBA (DB2 PL/SQL Linux Cloud) *Remote Interview WfH*. Are you a technologist DBA with a DevOps mindset? You could be progressing your career at a global games software studio.

As a Database Administrator / DBA within the Data Operations team you will help manage on-premise and cloud-based operational databases, as well as real-time streaming services ensuring the security and business continuity of these databases. You will have a focus on DB2 and will collaborate with Production Engineering and Enterprise Infrastructure teams to deliver shared services and bring stability, performance, availability and security to database services.

Driven by technology this company is able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process during the current social distancing measures; in time you'll be based in Central London in amazing offices with break-out areas, games room as well as quiet space, excellent kitchen / canteen facilities and continued flexible working with part of the week at home. 

Requirements:

You have strong experience of administering DB2 databases

You have experience with PL/SQL (or other scripting language that can be used to generate processes to handle data archiving and removal)

You have a strong knowledge of Linux OS with knowledge of cloud and modern data concepts

You're a keen technologist, keen to learn and improve your skills

You're collaborative with great communication skills
