Description: Creates and implements technical solutions for a domain or cross domains / portfolios of work within a specific technology area autonomously, understanding how solutions impact systems internally and/or externally and assessing impact of change. Provides technical quality assurance over work of other engineers through matrix team structure. Provides sound technical expertise to consult on significant component(s) of a technical solution within a specific domain or cross domain. Identifies opportunities to improve standards of practice within a project, continuously enhancing ways of working. Delivers resolutions to problems that tend to be complex, cross-domain or of high impact to customers. Description: The purpose of this role is to deliver the overall network design authority for a network platform and/or customer solution. Driving efficiency and scalability through the re-use of network designs and ongoing in-life operation of designs across the overall network platform and/or customer solution. Acting as a technical ambassador for the company and providing expert technical consulting to customers at a platform and/or overall solution level. The role decides on design scope and design of the overall network platform and/or customer solution, as well as estimating the time and type of resource needed to support the deliverables with increasing cost impact and time duration. Provide design authority for significant component(s) of the overall solution and/or platform.
