Head of Information Security (HIS)

As part of the technical security team in this global bank, the HIS is responsible for driving and maintaining the global information security strategy and controls framework for the organisation. The role manages the company's information security position, key risks, and mitigations on behalf of the Board.Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer as head of the global security team, responsibilities include: '€¢Drive strategy and ensure adoption of best practices. '€¢Maintain and develop the culture of how cyber and information security is perceived by the organisation. '€¢Lead security operations including real-time analysis of immediate threats, and triage when required. '€¢Work with a team of cyber specialists on technology roadmaps and new security controls requiring implementation. '€¢Implement a developing corporate strategy in the training and development of information security team members and the wider technology staff group. '€¢Collaborate with partners, stakeholders, vendors, and third-party service or solutions providers on information security projects. '€¢Be aware of all developing security threats, and advice the Board on potential security problems that might arise through acquisitions or other business re-alignment.  About you:You are a security leader with deep commercial experience and a thorough knowledge of class leading security practice, ideally in banking environment.You have proven leadership experience in high performing InfoSec teams and credibility earned in a fast-paced technology driven organisation CCSP/ CISSP/ CIPP CertifiedISACA MemberExperience of AWS, Azure, Incident Response, Cloud Security Location: Manchester + RemoteDay Rate: £800-£850 per dayDuration: 8 months
