We are searching for a number of additional Software Developers to join a dedicated solutions team who are passionate about delivering high quality, reliable and maintainable software solutions.

Your focus will be to deliver cutting-edge .Net Solutions which are carefully designed to support our clients core business, its supplier networks, market-leading clients, and their customers.

You will be challenged daily to take an active role in the direction of the department's software.

The main technology focus is on .Net Solutions with multi-tiered architectures - you will be working with C#, VB.NET, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, ASP.NET, MVC, Front-end frameworks (e.g. Angular, React or similar), as well as supporting service applications.

Behind the scenes the applications sit on SQL Server Databases utilising a combination of Entity Framework, SQL Stored Procedures, combined with ADO.Net. The applications are hosted partly on client-site and partly in the cloud, using Azure.

You will be developing in a professional environment using Visual Studio Team System (VSTS), Test Driven Development and other contemporary technologies and methodologies.

During the pandemic you will be working from home with the occasional office visit, as and when required and allowed. Home-working options longer-term, once the pandemic is under control, are also available.

Qualifications and Experience

You require commercial experience in a mixture of the following to be considered for these opportunities;

SQL Server

Entity Framework

MVC

C# and/or VB.NET

JavaScript & jQuery

Ajax & JSON

Front-end Frameworks (e.g. Angular, React or similar)

XHMTL, HTML5 & CSS

Use of Visual Studio

Azure / Azure DevOps

Experienced in .NET application development

Problem solving and debugging code

Great communication skills

A real passion for delivering great products

Team working skills and collaboration

The following skills would be advantageous and a bonus but are NOT essential;

WCF Services

Bootstrap

Test Driven Development or Behaviour Driven Development

Familiarity with Agile Methodology and/or Kanban approach

WebAPI

Microsoft Azure and Cloud technologies

Database design and performance analysis
