We are searching for a Product Owner, someone who is able to operate across both the technology and product spectrum, being at the core of product development.

You will work at the granular delivery task level within specific product epics, and you will work closely with stakeholders to analyse and capture the product vision - you will be translating epics into user stories/requirements for the technical team to iterate over.

We are searching for candidates with good stakeholder management skills as you will be responsible for communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to elicit requirements and determine priorities.

The role will involve:

Develop and prioritise detailed product user stories/requirements to deliver high-quality products that meet or exceed our customer's expectations.

Translate and articulate complex business problems into easily understood solutions, documenting unambiguous definitions of scope.

Write epics and user stories with acceptance criteria.

Prioritise backlog items to best achieve core business objectives.

Align stakeholders on the status, demonstrating progress, and ensure the backlog is visible, transparent, and clear.

Communicate complex concepts to all levels of an organization and customers.

Define problems, collect data, analyse data using a range of techniques, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Work collaboratively with others to accomplish goals.

Demonstrate a flair for innovation and creativity, focusing on outcomes.

Demonstrate a self-starting, hardworking and inquisitive approach, always considering the bigger picture.

Demonstrate exceptional planning, facilitation, dependency management, risk management & analytical skills.

Understand the customer/ user of the product, utilising and sharing user journeys, personas, user experience data, and metrics to reinforce this understanding across the wider team.

Treats Security and DevOps as a mindset considering within all analysis and project work.

Be the internal evangelist for your area of the Product Management vision.

Seek opportunities to maximise the business value delivered by product features.

 

About You

You will be a natural and effective communicator who develops and maintains excellent relationships with your peers, customers and stakeholders. You will be a forward-thinking, inquisitive, analytical and, a problem solver.

Successful candidates will be highly organised, excellent at planning and managing work. You will identify, isolate, and resolve complex problems using an array of well-versed techniques.

We are ideally looking for someone with an out-of-the box style of thinking, considering the wider picture, whilst providing clear, concise, and well-thought-out analysis.

You will be adaptable and passionate about quality, demonstrating attention to detail to optimise the effectiveness of product delivery and comply with definitions of done.

You will also have/be:

Solid experience in building, launching, and maintaining digital consumer products/services in a product ownership role.

Experience dealing with stakeholders in different functions and of different levels of seniority.

An excellent understanding and experience in a scrum/agile product delivery experience.

Strong appreciation for web technologies and cloud-based platforms.

Technical fluency; understanding and discussing architectural concepts, schedule trade-offs, and new opportunities with technical team members.

Computer Science Degree or another STEM subject is desirable.
