This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a company at C-Level to manage and direct their device development teams. Our client are an established organisation at a critical point in their growth working on the design and development of next generation Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity devices for the home and workplace.  The primary responsibility of the successful applicant will be to oversee the development and management of the whole device development programme, encompassing Firmware, Software, Hardware and Test departments, contributing to and following strategic growth and development plans, product road maps and contributing to device architecture with new business opportunities in mind. In addition to leading the Development Teams the role also interfaces across additional key teams, working with other directors and C-Level members to ensure continued success and business growth. You will need to have a proven track record of successful line management and extensive experience of team working at a senior level, have experience working in agile environments and a background in the following areas:IoT technologies (802.15.4, 802.11, Zigbee and the IP stack)Experience of running teams of 10+ developersA strong focus on building robust quality productsFirmware and hardware development for connected devicesEstimating the effort required to design and build new device capabilities and featuresThey can offer the right salary for the right candidate plus benefits package and flexible working/partial remote working.
