You'll help to define and deliver the Labs strategy, vision, and purpose with the broader leadership community, to help lead and deliver high quality technical solutions.Ideally, you'll be an experienced Engineering Lead (Service Lab) lead who has experience in managing large and diverse technologies across multiple value streams; and experience of running PEGA, ECM, CRM, SOA and AWS platforms. You'll be a keen and comfortable communicator who is happy working with a wide range of technical and non-technical staff.

The key missions for this role:

Be a leader with a vision in technology and use this to help define and drive the future technical strategy.Work with Engineering teams to up-skill their capabilities in their relevant area.Take ownership and lead teams to deliver customer outcomes.Be an ambassador for the continuous improvement of the systems and technologies in the team.What essential skills and experience you'll need?Broad technical appreciation combined with a strong passion and knowledge of 24/7 service experience.Skilled in the leadership of both colleagues and partners, and delivery of technical change using Agile methodologies.Cloud technology experience and knowledge, and experience in technical architecture, infrastructure, and hardware.Able to lead teams, set direction and solve problems when delivering change in these areas.Lead the relationship with 3rd party technology suppliers and own all associated contract and governance activities.You'll be an advocate of both Cloud Technology and DevOps to help craft the technology transformation plan; a confident technology leader who can support the out of hours Technical Recovery Management on a rota basis and passionate about people leadership and line management of Software Engineers to support their learning and development.Together we make it possible.
