Microbiology Manager I am currently working with an exciting GMP certified Cosmetics company in Hampshire who are looking for a Microbiology Manager to join the team on a permanent basis (8.30am - 4.30pm, Mon - Fri). The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the QC Lab Lead through managing the specific shift in planning, organising, implementing and controlling the daily activities of the QC laboratory.This includes responsibility of overseeing lab testing processes with ability to troubleshoot instruments and issues, conducting and supervising all OOS investigations and reject investigations. As well as participating in continuous improvement projects regionally to drive efficiencies in the lab.Key areas of Responsibility:Management of QC Lab Testing for a shift or lab functionTesting Data Review and ReleaseEquipment programCompliance / Continuous Improvement within Lab Function AreaPersonnel Management & TrainingKey Requirements:A science degree or equivalent experienceLaboratory experience preferably in microbiology in Quality Control for a global consumer goods / FMCG or pharma companyExperience in developing laboratory SOPs and revisions according to regulatory guidelinesEffective oral and written communication skills and ability to appropriately communicate information to cross functional stakeholders and suppliersStrong knowledge of GMP, ISO and safety guidelinesSolid knowledge of all laboratory equipment (e.g., Viscometer, ACS Color Computer, Vitek, Analytical Instrumentation) Experience in managing direct reports and following people management protocols and processesFMCG/Pharma/Cosmetics industry experienceIf this Microbiology Manager role in Hampshire looks like it could be the next step in your career, please get in touch ASAP!
