Informal Homeworking Option Available About the role Our Process Automation team play a crucial role in freeing our people up to spend more time on what they do best - giving our customers a great service. They do this by working closely with the business to identify automation opportunities across all internal systems to drive significant gains in business productivity. As a fairly new team, they have saved the business an impressive 1.5 million minutes. It is an exciting and innovative team to be a part of, where you will develop and constantly improve our robotics platform and assess how things like cognitive technologies, AI and machine learning can help the business. We are now seeking an RPA Developer to join the team to; Analyse existing processes that have been identified through a classification and prioritisation process to ensure that they meet the relevant criteria to allow automation to commence. Develop automated processes using the selected tools within an Agile framework to allow the business to realise the benefits from process automation. Organise and report on unit and system tests of process automations to ensure that they are robust as well as being resilient to system failure and business data exceptions. Devise and maintain best practices for process definition, naming standards, common code components and document templates so that other members of the team can produce high quality and consistent output. Document the developed automated processes to ensure that they follow agreed best practice and are easy to support and maintain. 6. Deploy new automated processes into production, following an agreed governance structure to provide a consistent audit trail of changes. Peer review process automations created by other members of the team to validate that best practice and governance standards are being met within the remit of the PDD. Maintain existing processes that have already been deployed in production - including triage, debug of errors and applying fixes to ensure consistency of service. What we're looking for The successful candidate will possess previous coding and robotics/automation experience and will be familiar with using Ui Path software (Foundation training level). You will have a strong teamwork ethic, be able to balance quality and time constraints and will be able to demonstrate good stakeholder management skills.

Previous insurance knowledge and agile experience would be advantageous, although these are not essential requirements.
