My client is looking for a Technical Delivery Manager for an initial 6 month contract with the potential to extend.

This role is inside of IR35.

o Perform Microwave DCN planning, designing/ be familiar with the Transmission Networks based on PDH/SDH, HYBRID , IPVPN ,IP/PACKET, GPON, PTN & WDM Technologies.

o Developing and reviewing low to high level designs for the Microwave transmission network: design of microwave links, trunks/paths and transmission nodes including CX600 switches and routers .

o Translating intra- and extra- departmental requirements and volume forecasts into technical specifications and network expansions.

o To plan, check and dimension E2E connection and network capacity for ETL Mini-Link , NEC iPasolink 400 , SIAE vendor Nodes.

o Plan and provide DCN solutions for SDH/PDH, HYBRID & ALL IP/PACKET SYSTEMS equipment network management.

o Make sure all projects and changes are implemented with a minimal risk for the live network.

o Translate network performance requirements into technical specifications/ BOQ .

o Manage associated optimisation projects; deliver in time, budget and quality.

o Assist in introducing new technologies & services, in forecasting capacity, in providing 2nd/3rd level support to operations and in dimensioning and designing the network in a resilient, cost-effective and flexible way in accordance with technical requirements, quality standards and design guidelines.

o Assist in Technical Site Surveys if required and to check and approve survey reports.

o Frequently optimize/ re-route the microwave transmission, configure LAN, VLANs for Services planned .

o Provision Network due to changes on sites' downtime, permitted tower load or other issues as well as based on transmission capacity enhancement / requirements.

o Prepare, update the relevant Design Databases , Network Management Systems as well as planning for microwave links in new sites.

o Generation of a backhaul Plan for Deployment of Microwave links , including microwave connectivity, traffic aggregation and Fiber Termination Plans. Support to Field and Operations team for quick resolution of issues related to Backhaul, IP config ,DCN activity .

o Participate in weekly/monthly meetings with Project team when required.

o Provide statistics and analytics on microwave utilizations To churn out Weekly / Monthly Performance Reports for the Project Team and Management.

o Interacting with implementation, technical, post-sales and project departments and coming up with collaborated strategies for network upgrades, pipelining and new technological evolution.

o Act as buddy for new hires in the Microwave Planning . Provide Training when required. monitor each team member's microwave planning effectiveness KPIs and team KPIs.

o Work closely with the deployment team and adhere to internal and external requirements on business ethics and SOPs.
