You would be responsible for the product and solution strategy development, roadmap execution and business success of the company's RFID offering. To succeed as Senior Product Manager, the position holder must have strong business acumen combined with understanding of technology as a tool to improve business processes. From an in-depth understanding of the technology as well as the customers' challenges, constraints, business needs and processes, this person will define the core markets and applications to focus on as well as the total RFID solution required to be successful. This person will also track and monitor RFID technology marketspace and its future evolution and translate opportunities this brings into new RFID solutions for the company.The RFID Product Manager will offer clear and effective RFID vision and direction internally and to their customers, developing a concept design and business case for specific RFID projects, based on the individual customer business needs and processes and aligned to the overall RFID strategy. This may include developing an RFP and associated evaluation criteria, as well as vendor selection, custom software development or training. For this, the RFID product manager will work closely with the Solutions Architects and Product Managers RFID materials and devices. Once the customer specific solution has been defined, and the quote has been accepted, the RFID product manager will work closely with the RFID Solutions Project Engineer on the execution of the project.Key Responsibilities:Understand the RFID business and application needs in several industries such as retail, apparel, pharma, medical, health care, food processing, logistics management, industrial manufacturingWork closely with the Devices, Software and Labels product managers to define the components of the total RFID solution by selecting the right RFID tag, reader and software solution for the right applicationDefine and execute go to market and promotional plans for the RFID range, which includes positioning, pricing, training, messaging.Assess customer opportunities and convert them by understanding the pain points and quoting a custom solution that meets the needs.Follow up on won opportunities working closely with the RFID solutions project engineer and other stakeholders involved in the delivery of the solution.Have a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape, our competitive advantages and translate those into training and tools that support our sales tool to better position our solution and win opportunitiesBuild a future ideation pipeline and roadmap of RFID solutions, get buy in on business cases for new projects, prioritize projects based on customer requirements, business impact and our opportunity to win, work with R&D on timely delivery of new projects.Act as a technology and solutions evangelist internally as well as externally, by supporting sales and other teams with training, demonstrations, customer visits, trade shows etc.Portfolio management and component lifecycle management in cooperation with (strategic) sourcingMaintain and develop relationships to strategic vendors and component manufacturersRequirements:5 plus year of experience in implementing and / or consulting complex business processesutilizing technology. Experience of IoT preferredTechnical experience in RFID/IOTElectrical / Electronics based OR business degree For technical background, MBA would be advantageousPrevious experience in IoT and or RFID in retail would be advantageousStrong communicatorVendor selection and management skillsHas technical workplace experienceProject management experience, managing multi-functional project teamsIs numerate and understands costings, margin, business planningHas been customer facingPossesses and understanding of the concept of MVP in the rollout and introduction of new products and technologiesExperience gaining first-hand knowledge of product concepts and ideas utilising VOCFluent in Finnish and English due the the seniority and complexity of the role.
