£300.00 to £550.00 per day DOEThis is an excellent opportunity for a Software Developer to join a market leading communications company in a highly varied and technical role on a 3-6 Month Contract.The company are a well-established business who invest heavily into Research and Development in communications. After successfully launching a brand-new project, they are working alongside world-leading vendors looking to shape the digital communication sector, making this the ideal time to join.In this role you will develop reliable, mission-critical Linux software for in-vehicle router products used in the emergency services. You will specify, design and build extendible code to be used in mission-critical applications for 10+ year life span.The ideal candidate will have commercial experience with C/C++ and Linux administration (e.g., network configuration, firewalls). And experience with Git, MySQL and Node.js is advantageous.This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious, growing business where you can be part of the development of software which will have a real-world impact.The Role:

*Develop reliable, mission-critical Linux Software for in vehicle router products

*Specify, design and build extendible code for mission-critical applications

*Support and maintain new and existing software through its lifespan.

*Proven commercial experience suing C/C++

*Expert in Linux Administration
