Role: SC Cleared Service Designer

Location: Remote

Contract Length: 3 months

IR35 status: Inside via umbrella

Daily rate: Negotiable

Service Designer required to influence and mentors others. You will work with service managers and programme directors to develop design concepts. You will set direction, assure the quality of design delivery across teams and lead multiple or highly complex services

Key Responsibilities / Skills:

* Work as part of a multi-disciplined team to design user focussed services

* Take responsibility for translating and driving through findings from users into design concepts, prototypes and production assets

* Work closely with development teams to ensure design is implemented faithfully and with due intent

* Work autonomously as required to take responsibility for proactively identifying and resolving any issues arising

* Deliver designs that meet web standards, ensuring that key elements are built in from the outset

* Contributing to the development and continual enhancement of the product

* Communicating/Partnering with colleagues to facilitate a consistent user experience, and managing stakeholders

* Facilitating User Research (including observing and providing recommendations) and subsequently iterating design based on research outcomes

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
