Are you an experienced design manager looking to join a leading automotive manufacturer, in a role offering full autonomy and the opportunity to further develop?

Do you have strong experience within a similar role and have a strong understanding of Solidworks or CATIA?

The company are a leading manufacturer operating within the Automotive, Motorsport and other specialist industrial sectors. They have a global presence with a reputation for excellence and innovation worldwide.

You will be managing the team who are designing cutting edge automotive products from conception through to manufacture. As well as product design & development, you will play a key role in the full-scale manufacture of the components. You will work closely with the production team to design Jigs and fixtures to maximise production capabilities for your designs.

THE ROLE:

*Lead the design team

*Offer design support and advice to customers

*Design of new and existing products

*Office based in Northampton, some travel to other sites (Fully expensed)

THE PERSON:

*Engineering background

*Solidworks or CATIA

*Ideally motorsport, Automotive or similar industry experience

*Interested in engines or similar hobbies
