We have an exciting new role for a SAP Senior Analyst (Cloud SME). You will be responsible for all activities related to design, spec and develop custom applications, supporting test activities and collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure work delivered meets client requirements.

You will be part of the SAP CoE team working closely with other application teams on both large and smaller sub projects, to provide a dynamic and flexible approach while promoting and adhering to good practice such as the ITIL process. The role will be working closely with a wide user community across multiple teams to build cloud-native services and business applications.

You will report into SAP Solution Lead

Core responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with a cross-functional and multi-location implementation team to ensure that work delivered meets client requirements and standards both functionally and technically.

  • Participate workshops to design/agree new SAP solutions

  • Design SAP Clous Platform configuration, action, test and implement within a Project management framework

  • Working with external and internal development teams/suppliers to deliver SAP solutions  

  • Working on developing custom interfaces with SAP Cloud Platform Integration along with configuring standard content

  • Working in various business scenario and on all major adapters.

  • Attend technical / architecture design review meetings and help design high performance, scalable, reliable and secure enterprise solutions

  • Ensure the availability and performance of SAP to agreed SLAs 

  • Be required to investigate business issues within SAP, acting as advisor and super user 

  • Focus on continuous improvement of processes and end user experience.

  • Create/update technical documentation and provide expert knowledge sharing within the SAP CoE team.

  • Proactive management of cloud technology and mobile applications to improve monitoring and performance whilst reducing exceptions, faults and failures.

  • Design, code and test product features by following agile development practices.

  • Contribute to the delivery of business and team KPIs

Experience & Skills we're looking for:

  • Extensive development skills with a strong SAP Bias

  • Relevant experience with SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry) 

  • A good working knowledge of the SAP Business Technology Platform and related technical components such as HANA, BAS, BTP Workflow management, Integration suite, etc.

  • Relevant experience in and an understanding of cloud technology and mobile applications

  • At least one Full lifecycle project delivery experience

  • Hands-on experience with cloud solutions; preferable with SAP Cloud Platform.

  • Relevant experience with modern web technologies (SAP UI5, Fiori) + Full stack development.

  • Knowledge of Hana Cloud is a plus.

  • Experience integrating SAP CPI with SuccessFactors, Salesforce, Ariba, Hybris, S/4 Hana and On-premise solutions is a plus

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications

  • Some  experience with ABAP development 

  • Some knowledge of PI/PO

Salary:  up to £63k dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits
