Their Consultants are experts in turning complex data into easy to interpret, visual, useable information and have a track record in developing analytics that support strategic and operational decisions, identify large savings and track success.Client DetailsRapidly expanding Data Consultancy and Microsoft Gold Partner DescriptionThis rapidly expanding Data Consultancy and Microsoft Gold Partner are looking for an experienced Analytics / Business Intelligence Consultant with a specialism in Power BI / DAX / M. Their Consultants are experts in turning complex data into easy to interpret, visual, useable information and have a track record in developing analytics that support strategic and operational decisions, identify large savings and track success.Working arrangements can be Fully Remote / WFH or office based if this is preferable.They work with a huge variety of datasets (from internal structured databases to external ?les and spreadsheets) covering themes such as social care, public health, ?nance, education, housing and economic development, with the aim of turning information into insight and moving the sector away from a dependence on out-dated reporting tools and static spreadsheets.Key Responsibilities:Analyse data (via Power BI / DAX / M) for patterns and trends using statistical principles, and design visualisations to highlight ?ndingsUse basic statistical principles for data analysis such as correlations, statistical signi?cance and temporal analysisWork with users to understand requirements, current reporting and challenges, and translate these into new analytics solutionsProduce documentation and support users during technical handoversWork as part of a project team, providing status updates and delivering to project timescalesWork as part of a broader project team, providing status updates and delivering to project timescalesProactively identify issues, risks and opportunities, and manage and escalate these where necessary Key Skills / Qualities required: Circa 2 years' experience working in a data analytics, developing insights for a range of audiencesStrong knowledge and expertise of using Power BI, including transforming data using Power Query and M; creating data models and analysing data using DAX; producing elective data visualisation across reports and dashboard; publishing, scheduling dataset refresh and distribution of Apps in the Power BI ServiceAppreciation of MS Azure infrastructure for data and analyticsExperience of querying / extracting / ETL from relational databases using SQL or similarHave a passion for developing analytics that can transform the way people make decisionsBe a natural problem solver and use your initiative to seek answers and solutionsBe organised and think logicallyCommunicate well, online and in personAble to present your analytics to a range of audiences, during development, testing phases and on completionAmbitious with the ability to organise your time and work independently, as well as part of a wider project teamKeep up to date with the latest advances in relevant technology and analytical approachesApply a commercial mindset to your activity, identifying opportunities that add value to our businessProfileCirca 2 years' experience working in a data analytics, developing insights for a range of audiencesStrong knowledge and expertise of using Power BI, including transforming data using Power Query and M; creating data models and analysing data using DAX; producing elective data visualisation across reports and dashboard; publishing, scheduling dataset refresh and distribution of Apps in the Power BI ServiceAppreciation of MS Azure infrastructure for data and analyticsExperience of querying / extracting / ETL from relational databases using SQL or similarHave a passion for developing analytics that can transform the way people make decisionsBe a natural problem solver and use your initiative to seek answers and solutionsBe organised and think logicallyCommunicate well, online and in personAble to present your analytics to a range of audiences, during development, testing phases and on completionA self-starter with the ability to organise your time and work independently, as well as part of a wider project teamKeep up to date with the latest advances in relevant technology and analytical approachesApply a commercial mindset to your activity, identifying opportunities that add value to our businessJob OfferOpportunity to join a rapidly expanding Data ConsultancyOpportunity to work with a range of clients in different sectors
