Client DetailsMichael Page Technology are delighted to have partnered with a leading IT Support and Technical Services MSP to recruit a Senior Technical Support Analyst to support their Manchester based client. DescriptionWhat you'll be doing:As Senior Technical Support Analyst this is a varied role involving pre-sales research, consulting, solution implementation and ongoing technical support on a wide range of technologies to our managed SME clients. You will be customer facing supporting the needs of our customers, so will need to have good communication skills, and be self-motivated and well organised. The ability to liaise with end users and colleagues at all levels in a confident and professional manner is essential.Essential Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of Network technologies (VLANs, Routing, QoS, MPLS, Firewalls)Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server including virtualisationKnowledge of Cloud Services (IaaS, SaaS, Office365, Azure)Desired Skills:Router and firewall implementation, configuration and support (Cisco/Sophos)LAN and WAN implementation, configuration and support (HPE/Cisco)Microsoft Hyper-V & ClusteringMicrosoft Azure Backup, DR and IaaSDatto & Veeam Backup productsMcAfee & Sophos Security productsHP servers, storage and networkingProfileKey Skills & Experience:Minimum of 5 years' experience in an I.T. support roleMinimum of 3 years' experience in an outsourced support role (ideally MSP) working to a similar level.A well-presented customer focused individual with strong communication skillsGood understanding of a service management environment (ITIL)Experience in delivering IT projectsA team player prepared to work at all levels with a pro-active approachFlexible approach to working hours due to demanding business environmentJob OfferSalary:£25,000 - £35,000 per annumBenefits:Working from home when not on customers siteComprehensive on-going training and developmentHealth insurance
