International Banking Group - Initial 6 Month Contract

Inside IR35* (PAYE Umbrella): up to £645pd

Flexible Working: WFH / London

As a preferred and trusted recruitment partner to this international banking group for over eight years, we are assisting in the hire of a contract SQL Developer to join them on an initial 6-month contract. You will work as part of the finance applications development team, completing development tasks as well as BAU support of systems looked after by the team.

You will ensure the business has no major outstanding issues with the finance intranet tools, data presented is accurate and timely and that web development work is completed on time with no major issues. In addition, you will support the EMEA Repository warehouse, and will support SSRS reporting for branches across the EMEA region.

Key Skills / Experience Required

*Development Experience with SSRS, SQL, SSIS, SQL Agent, T-SQL

*Query Optimisation

*Strong QA and Documentation

*Take a hands-on approach with good debugging

*Understanding of Business Analysis and taking requirements from users

*Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and data problem investigation, diagnosis, and correction

*Automation Experience

Desirable Skills / Experience

*JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ASP.net, C# Development

*ASP 6

*VBA

*Cognos

*Worked in the Banking / Finance Sector and Finance / Banking business knowledge

*Experience working on MI projects

*Inside IR35 (PAYE Umbrella): This contract is offered on a PAYE basis (via an umbrella company). The advertised day rate (up to £645pd) is the total amount we would pay your nominated umbrella. It is inclusive of holiday accrual and employer pension contributions. All employee and employer statutory deductions (all NI, Income Tax, Apprenticeship Levy, etc.) will be deducted from this figure by your umbrella.
