Dynamic and expanding IT company in central Edinburgh looking to recruit a IT Support apprentice, to join their busy sales team.

This will be an apprentice level appointment under the Modern Apprentice scheme, and will you be enrolled onto the IT Support learning plan.

As well as getting on the job training, you will also receive class room training on various Microsoft applications and operating systems. You will be mentored by their senior engineers and develop your IT Support skills over the year.

Your role will involve assisting the support team with taking calls and engaging in online support chat with clients, logging and updating tickets into their management systems, and delivering remote support for 1st line tickets, such as password resets, user profile creations, laptop and desktop builds and repairs, and general Microsoft application support.

This role would ideally suit a recent school leaver who is looking to make their first step on the career path in the IT industry within a professional office.

You will need to be hard working, have great attention to detail, work to deadlines, be very well organised and have a real interest in technology with a good basic knowledge of IT terminology and devices. Great customer service attitude is a must.

This is a 12 month placement, which could possibly lead to a full time position for the right candidate on completion of their apprenticeship.

This will be an office based role, based at their Edinburgh City Centre office, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
