Operations Manager - Wholesale Division
Remote
£32,000 - £42,000 per annum

Our company is the leading manufacturer of products for a niche part of the construction sector, making profiles for external rendering and internal plastering. As the pioneer of PVC beading in the UK and the current market leader, the company enjoys an enviable reputation and a strong, loyal customer base. The Wholesale Division acts as an autonomous company separate to the Manufacturing Division, requiring management of the associated system requirements of stock management, IT and accounting. The Operations Manager is a critical part of linking all business functions. It is a remote position so it requires someone with excellent writing, telephone and IT skills and someone who is clear about their own measure of success and what drives them. The role is autonomous with just one direct report, so it is best suited to someone used to ‘doing’ rather than ‘delegating’, and is comfortable with all the related admin. Motivated by responsibility and delivering outcomes, the Operations Manager is the lead in both business functions and service delivery.

The successful candidate will be fully supported in their training to undertake the role of Order Processor for as long as it takes to have a complete understanding of the core day-to-day functions with a strong focus on customer needs. They will then work with the Managing Director to recruit an Order Processor, and take the lead in their training.
