Quality Engineer (Special Process)Redditch - Commutable from Worcester, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Birmingham, Stratford upon Avon, Kidderminster, Droitwich Spa, Bromsgrove, Evesham£32,000 - £35,000 + Fixed Holiday + Company Pension + Group Life AssuranceAre you a Quality Engineer with experience in a Heat Treatment facility, looking to join a market-leading aerospace manufacturer who invest heavily in their staff through excellent industry training?On offer is the opportunity to work as part of an efficient Quality Team, where you will play an important role as a Quality Engineer to oversee the NADCAP Special process within a heat treatment facility.The Company are award-winners, and specialise in the manufacture of precision metalwork for the aerospace sector. They have continued to grow from strength to strength through the Pandemic, and now require an experienced Quality Engineer to join their ranks and contribute to their continued success.This role would suit an experienced Quality Engineer with previous experience working to NADCAP Special Processes, looking for a new permanent position.

The Role:-Manage and maintain an inhouse heat treatment facility following Nadcap audit processes.Be the technical leader for NADCAP audits at every stage of the auditing process.Support the Quality Manager in maintaining external quality accreditations, as well as upholding strict company procedures such as AS9100.

The Candidate:-Quality Engineer with proven experience using NADCAP Special Processes, experience within a heat treatment facility desirable.Knowledge of Aerospace and Defence standards, including AS9145 desirable.HNC/ONC or equivalent desirableKnowledge of Pressings and Flat Metal Springs desirable.
