The Central IT Dept. supports this by providing the resources - infrastructure, equipment and people so that the Schools can implement the programmes. There is a team of 6 people within the technology team and you will have 5 x direct reports. An overview of the scope of the role on a day to day business.Lead the Central IT Function including Database and Infrastructure,Service DeliveryManage and support your team to enable them to deliver effective and high quality service, change programmes and user experience. Continuously improving delivery of service. Act as a sounding board to support them and their work.Asisst in the ongoing training and development of the IT teamSet best practices within Service DeskProfileYou will have a solid tech background within infrastructure and progressed through the ranks. Ideally someone how has worked within education sector. As you will be leading a team it is important you are able to communicate effectively where required. You should have in depth exposure to the following;Helpdesk experience; managing and overseeing tickets, and overall management of the helpdesk.Schools experience preferably secondary.Experience of Office 365, Azure, Active Directory.Responsible for IT Security.Job OfferAn initial 6 month FTC Contract - with a salary banding of £42,000 - £45,000 per anum. ( £21,00 - £22,500 for 6 months) You will be required to work on site , 5 x days per week at the school site on central London A DBS is essential for this role and must be Fully enhanced and on the update service.
