This role is responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of the organisations UK's network and computing infrastructure. As well as supporting the current network and computing estate, the role will involve building and testing new applications, systems and services.Client DetailsNon- governmental organisation with its UK HQ based in Woking and other offices in Cardiff and Edinburgh.Description· Ensure Backup and IT Disaster Recovery requirements are achieved as described in the Business Continuity Plan· Maintain accurate and detailed systems documentation· Maintain organisations UK's line of business applications· Support and maintain virtual infrastructure located both on premises and in Public Cloud (IaaS)· Management of a multi-site switched and wireless network· Managing faults, including incident ticket management and change control from creation to closure· Manage and ensure effectiveness of our security solutions and threat defence· systems· Operate and maintain our proactive monitoring systems· From time to time act as key liaison between the ICT Network Team and the ICT Service DeskProfile· Computer science degree or equivalent in experience and/or vendor certifications· A capacity to acquire new skills· Ability to troubleshoot problems in a structured manner· Understanding the impact of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance on technical solutions Skills and Competencies · Windows Server System experience· Strong PowerShell skills· Working knowledge of Active Directory· Experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure· Working experience with IaaS/PaaS deployments, right-sizing systems for performance and cost· Working knowledge of computer networkingJob Offer3 month initial contract paying between £375-450 p/day inside IR35. Working with a team in total of 17 others (infrastructure architect, engineers, EUC analysts, finance application analysts, DBAs, security analysts and Service Desk Engineers)Hybrid approach to office work/ working remotely from home
