Senior R DeveloperWe are looking for experienced, a self-driven R developers for our pharmaceutical client, who want to join an agile international team of scientists and software engineers that work on a new R based tool chain to transform how we process and analyse data in clinical trials. Your role as Senior R Developer (m/f)Advanced R programming, including package development using devtoolsPackage testing, using test that or some other testing utility (RUnit comes to mind)Working with GitHub/Gitlab or even Bitbucket, creating branches, familiarity with git workflows. We are not following any particular git workflow in our projects, but knowing them evidences some deep familiarity with version control systems.Package development cycle using R CMD checkExtracting documentation programmaticallyMetaprogramming / static code analysis of package objectsDeveloping/contributing to existing R packages that exercise many software development best practicesRequired skillsProficiency in working with GitHub/Gitlab or even Bitbucket, creating branches, familiarity with git workflows Min 3 years' experience in Package development cycle using R CMD check Familiarity/Experience with R package representations & structure (basic knowledge of what package metadata is available, and how to access it within R)Experience in extracting documentation programmatically and metaprogramming / static code analysis of package objects Experience developing/contributing to R packages that exercise many software development best practicesFluency in English (written and spoken) Further informationlocation: Remotestart date: asap, latest 01.12.2021duration: min. 6 months Interested?
