My client are looking for an Application Support Engineer to be responsible for key business systems and applications Client DetailsMy client are a world leading manufacturer with big plans for growth DescriptionApplication support for this role is focused around Engineering IT Systems Looking for someone can manage the technical aspects of the applications installation/day-to-day support, but full training will be given to the successful candidate. Its is not necessary for you have had previous exposure to Engineering applications but helpful.Resolve calls to the Engineering IT Solutions service desk.Converting Engineering requirements for system enhancements, following the company process, into workable solutions which add value, with an opportunity to expand your skills into Project Management.Resolve compounds issues (Root cause analysis), problems and known errors.Identify and support continuous improvements of other tools and processes used within Design and Engineering in the medium termProfileProven experience in 3rd line IT service desk/application support engineer working in a sizable organisation Demonstrated experience of supporting complex business applications on both client and some server side, including the installation and configuration utilising client deployment technologies.Ability to take a problem and work through the issues to get to a successful conclusion, with the support of other team members or 3rd party support organisationsJob OfferSalary paying up to £45,000Global platform for careerCompetitive benefits package Flexible working scheme Work alongside like minded individuals
