SC Cleared Lead Automation Test Engineer - DevOps

£500-550 per day

My government client are currently looking for a Lead Automation Test Engineer to join them on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will have a mix of technical skills along with managerial skills and stakeholder/supplier management experience.

Essential Skills

*Self-starter

*Solid Lead/Senior Test Management experience

*Experience of large, multi-vendor highly challenging projects

*Strong personality and able to robustly challenge 3rd party suppliers and multiple stakeholders

*Good Java programming skills and a clear vision of how to author clean maintainable code.

*Good knowledge of Java test tooling e.g. Rest-Assured, Cucumber, Webdriver, JsonPath etc.

*Track record of designing and implementing large scale test automation frameworks for complex projects.

*Experience implementing automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.

Desired Skills

*Experience with DevOps automation tooling e.g. Ansible/Chef/Puppet/Jenkins/Linux Shell Scripting

*Experience with Spring Framework for Java

*Experienced in technical leadership and design - best practice implementation and assurance, appropriate use of implementation patterns, advocate of good separation of concerns and component re-use.

*Comfortable working with a variety of databases with solid SQL experience.
