We are working with a global Insurance company who are looking for a strong DevOps Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis. Solution-focused and passionate about technology is key, with extensive IT and business knowledge in the area of developing solutions for Fixed Income & Securities Financing products. Client DetailsYou will liaise with both IT and Stakeholders to problem solve and ensure bug free software solutions that will benefit and improve the business. Working in an agile way, you will be contributing to the development, test automation and design of the finance platform. DescriptionDevOps Engineer, London will be responsible for:Working knowledge on the domain of Fixed Income trading and Securities Financing products.Hands on experience with ION trading platform APIs and AnvilKnowledge of building custom components as part of an existing service-oriented software platformExperience with software development in Java and critical distributed systemsProficient in UNIX & Windows shell scripting for automationWorking knowledge of SQL/Oracle and good knowledge of ITIL processesWorking knowledge on continuous delivery/integration pipelines such as Azure DevOps and their core functionsExperience with agile way of workingProfileDevOps Engineer, London will ideally have: University degree in Computer Science or engineering with strong IT background7+ years of hands on work experience with any securities trading systemExtensive work experience in a software engineering role within IT, preferably for bankingContinuous learning of new technologies and methods, and you can apply them into new ideas and concrete solutionsYou are available to participate on application support activities outside office hours (e.g. standby shifts or weekend deployments)Job OfferBenefits package includes: Flexible working Extensive benefits packagePrivate healthcare
