Excellent opportunity for a Lead Embedded Software Engineer to join a market leading fitness tech company in a highly varied and interesting role where you can progress your career.

This company have rapidly grown over the past 5 years. COVID has only grown their worldwide presence and they are now looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer to join their Hardware team.

In this role you will specialise in writing embedded code and managing code quality while managing a range of products in a fascinating and rapidly growing industry.

The ideal candidate will be a senior embedded software engineer with strong C/C++ skills and experience in the area of motor control.

The role:

*Develop, test and maintain motor control firmware and associated embedded software

*Conduct code reviews and continuous improvements

*Responsible for defining appropriate coding practices and ensuring these have been adhered to by all software engineers in software releases

*Part of a diverse and busy team

The person:

*Degree educated in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or similar

*Experience writing embedded software as a senior developer

*Strong C/C++ skills

*Experience with electronics

*Motor Control experience highly beneficial

*GitHub, JIRA, MATLAB beneficial
