You will be responsible for development and software engineering tasks in order to deliver new and enhance existing solutions for the business. The role will offer variety and the opportunity to explore, define and deliver high quality services. Our Development Team work primarily on a Microsoft technology stack with SQL Server backend with a focus on web development and the expansion of products into the self-service online booking tools. The IT department is always looking to adopt and adapt new processes and technologies and is currently migrating and developing in .Net 5, using Elasticsearch for searching and log management, and implementing CI/CD pipeline in Azure DevOps. The Senior Developer will assist with the day-to-day coordination of our growing development team, with focus on a new team to support our increasing number of products. Working closely with the Development Software Manager and CTO, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders, you will ensure all work is completed according to schedule, budget and business priorities. Skills Required Excellent knowledge of .Net (C#) for both, web and application development. Good understanding of concepts like reflection, LINQ, API development, EF, regular expressions as well as memory and processor performance optimisation techniques Experienced in front end technologies - Angular and JavaScript, optimisation methodologies Demonstrable experience of agile methodologies in projects and software development process. Ideally using Azure DevOps Good MS SQL knowledge Good understanding of version control software (branching, tagging, merging etc.) General knowledge and understanding API's/Web services and related concepts (REST, JSON, XML) Demonstrable experience of software testing and quality assurance Experience of working with outsourced teams Experience of Elasticsearch and Kabana would be an advantage An understanding of a mobile first strategy Exposure to recent software engineering and development environment.
