Jefferson Frank are working with an exciting consultancy that has just gone live with a new greenfield project for a large Financial organisation, as part of a rapid scale up process we are looking for several AWS Cloud Platform Engineers currently. The roles will be Outside IR35, long term contract and fully remote. You will be responsible for building, testing, packaging, deploying and operating an enterprise scale cloud platform alongside shared platform tooling within the AWS cloud. You will use your development skills to automate the build of infrastructure resources within AWS, along with the packaging of services into AMIs, Docker containers or Serverless deployments.Must have: Hands on commercial experience with key AWS services, experience with AWS Landing Zone / Control Tower would be super desirable, not mandatoryBuilding AWS resources using infrastructure as code using Terraform or Cloud Formation and PackerBuilding, deploying and operating Docker containersA deep understanding and experience of building, testing, packaging, releasing and deploying code & services within a team based environmentLinux system administrationTechnically inquisitive, team player and willingness to collaborate and contribute Desirable skills: Hands on experience of working with key AWS security servicesKnowledgeable about the key security risks that are present when using AWS and how these can be prevented, detected and remediatedAWS associate, professional or speciality certificationHands on experience of using key Azure servicesDelivering within an agile environmentImplementing and working with continuous integration / continuous delivery pipelinesDevelopment background, with experience in common programming languages e.g. PythonKubernetes administrationAWS Cloud Platform Engineer | Outside IR35 | Remote Please apply, or feel free to reach out to me confidentially on [email protected]
