Lead Front End Developer London to £85k

Lead Front End Developer (JavaScript HTML5 React Redux). Are you a talented Front End Developer looking to progress your career to a Team Lead position whilst working with the latest technologies?

As a senior Lead Front End Developer at this global games software house you will lead a team of 9 developers. You'll be responsible for supporting the career development of your team by providing guidance and mentoring whilst also conducting training sessions and performance reviews. You'll facilitate the day to day process and coach the team towards an Agile way of working with a focus on product delivery. Although this is a hands-off role, you will be required to have a technical background to enable you to support the developers, get involved in pair programming, provide expertise and coach through technical issues.

The company is a technical innovator; as a Lead Front End Developer you'll be solving challenging technical problems within distributed environments using modern practices and driving continuous improvement of the team through setting standards and demonstrating best practice.

You'll be based in fantastic offices in a vibrant area of Central London with breakout areas, pool table, console games, fully stocked kitchen, quiet areas and flexible working hours.

Requirements:

Strong JavaScript development skills

Leadership / mentoring experience

Good knowledge of React and Redux; HTML5

Advocate of Agile methodologies

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
