ROLE - Service Desk AnalystLOCATION - Reading
SALARY - £25,000 - £32,000 (Dependent on Experience)
A software house based in Reading with a very strong presence nationwide are actively looking to recruit for Service Desk Analyst to join their expanding team. The main purpose of the Service Desk Technician is to handle all initial technical incidents and business requests.
The Service Desk Technician will ideally have experience with the following:
Active Directory, including Group PolicySolid understanding of TCP/IP network troubleshootingMicrosoft Office 365Excellent time management skillsWorking in a similar, busy environmentProviding 1st and 2nd line technical supportExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDealing with customers and users at all levels
The Service Desk Technician will be responsible for:
Providing desktop troubleshootingKeeping computer facilities secureEquipment configurationMaintaining IT Infrastructure and associated facilitiesResponding promptly to incidents, prioritising logsEscalating issues, where appropriateProviding remote support across a number of sitesKeeping Service Desk documentation up to date
