We cover London and the South-East and our client base is made up of landscaping companies (from plc to sole trader), golf courses, colleges/schools, tree surgeons, National Trust, and much more.We service, maintain and repair our own hire machines as well as our customer's machines, including offering a mobile repair service. The company has built its reputation on excellent customer service and attention to detail.The Position:We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join our team. You will report to a Director and be involved with the routine servicing/maintenance of our hire fleet as well as servicing customers' machines. Occasionally you may be asked to visit customer sites to attend to machine breakdowns or to deliver/collect hire machinery.Key Responsibilities:Repairing and maintaining a wide range of predominantly petrol groundcare tools/machineryWorking with lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, strimmers, blowers, small chippers and shredders, rotovators, tillers, stump grinders etcOccasionally visiting customer sites to attend machine breakdowns or deliver/collect hire machineryThe Candidate:Mechanical skills and experience(knowledge of 2 & 4 stroke petrol engines essential)Full driving licence (ability to tow trailers would be an advantage)Interested in landscaping and machineryAble to learn and apply technical knowledge, and keep up-to-date with changing technologyAble to work alone without direct supervision and make decisionsTeam player happy to assist in all areas as requiredAccurate and methodical approach to problemsPatience and perseverant when locating faultsGood health and physically fitFollows all health safety proceduresAny relevant qualifications in welding, forklift operation etc, would all be an advantageAdditional Information:Salary related to experienceMonday - Friday20 days holiday plus bank holidaysFree on-site parkingPlease click the APPLY button and to submit your CV/Cover Letter.Candidates may have experience or relevant job titles of; Service Engineer, Service Technician, Groundcare Engineer, Groundcare Technician, Groundcare Groundcare, Field Service Technician, Field service engineer, service engineer, engineering, mechanical, Mechanic Engineer, Mechanic, Service, Engineering, Engineer, Technician, Mobile Engineer, Multi-skilled Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Engineer, Mobile Technician, Fault Repair Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Garden Equipment, Gardening, Gardener, Landscaper, Landscaping, Groundcare may also be considerate for this position.
