Helpdesk Analyst - 1st line Technical Support - Service Desk Analyst - ITILAn exciting opportunity has arisen in Wakefield for a Service Desk Analyst to join our client as they embark on a transformation journey, with their IT Department being central to the delivery of the company's new 5-year strategy.The successful candidate will join an existing IT Service Desk Team, providing 1st line rapid and effective technical support to all users, in response to issues raised via phone, email and some in person.Responsibilities will include:To act as the first point of contact for users and suppliers for all IT support queries and issues.Ensure that all Incidents and Service Requests are logged correctly in the IT Service Management Tool.Provide support for end user devices, printers, peripherals, MS Office and bespoke applications and user connectionWork closely with users and other IT support teams to ensure incidents and requests are resolved within agreed SLA'sAssign or escalate issues to the appropriate team/third party for assistance when requiredWe are looking for candidates with previous experience working on an IT Service Desk in an ITIL environment (ideally ITIL qualified) with a positive "can do" attitude and good analytical, problem solving and communication skills.Good understanding in Ms office suite applications, desktop operating systems and exposure to Active Directory (account creation, password resets, etc). An understanding of network concepts and basic networking skills would be advantageous.This is a superb opportunity to join a fantastic company at a very exciting time.
