As 2nd Line Support Technician you will provide a high-level of PC and desktop support to the business. The role involves fault-finding and maintaining all forms of desktop hardware and software used in the company.Client DetailsMichael Page are delighted to be partnered with a globally recognised manufacturing organisation based in Hull to help support with the recruitment of a 2nd Line Support Technician.DescriptionWhat you'll be doing?As 2nd Line Support Technician you will provide a high-level of PC and desktop support to the business. The role involves fault-finding and maintaining all forms of desktop hardware and software used in the company.Key Responsibilities:Monitor, update and escalate calls to ensure Service Levels are achieved.Perform daily, weekly and monthly Information System checks as required by the role.Ensure that all systems and processes adhere to the IT Manual and highlight any anomalies.Undertake any training provided by the organisation.Monitor, update and escalate calls to ensure Service Levels are achieved.ProfileKey Skills & ExperienceWorking understanding of Terminal Services or a Citrix environment.Working knowledge of Windows server.Working knowledge of Office 365, including managing and maintaining SharePoint and OneDrive.Must have excellent timekeeping and communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.Must demonstrate a good attitude to work and be flexible to challenges and changes.Job OfferSalary:£24,000 - £25,000
