Finance ManagerContract Duration: 3 months - Inside IR35Rate: £500 a day Inside IR35 - UmbrellaLocation: London - Please Note this role requires to you to be on-site 3 days minimum a week. The ClientYou will be work for a British multinational telecommunications company and will be working at their London headquarter office.The Role You will be responsible for business partnering at the principal level with a focus on strategic and commercial relationships with Government, Local Authorities, Developers and Industry bodies.You will also be responsible for helping to provide a more agile forecasting module. Responsibilities Reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.Building and maintaining strong relationships with our external customers, representing the business as part of the contract delivery teamResponsible for a full range of financial accountabilities; control gross capex, external funding, cash collection, unit costs, cost to completion, high cost control and change control of contracts.Accountable for leading the budgetary and forecast activities for the contracts.Manage and run the month end processes.Working towards providing a more agile reporting and forecasting module.Responsible for production of transactional finance outputs, including quarterly MPC production, evidence requesting, WIP reporting, evidencing of BAU Claims within the standard lead times.Relationship management with senior operational and programme teams. Driving operational and financial efficiency's, and promoting commercial decision making amongst stakeholder groups.Business partner with sub-units (including operational delivery and contract management) within the CFU / CU to provide financial insights to inform strategic decision making.Skills and ExperienceFully qualified accountant / Further qualification to support specialism with significant PQE (.e.g. CIMA, ACCA, IIA, CISA, ACT, CTA, MCT, IR Society Certificate or equivalent)Experience of positively influencing business performance by using data, commentary and analysis to inform decision making.A true customer champion, with an ability to truly influence customer experience, demonstrating real customer empathy in everything they doStrategic thinker with proven experience driving daily concepts to deliver longer term vision with the ability to cut through barriers to bring real clarity and focus to delivering for our customersStrong Finance Business Partnering experience.An ability to matrix-manage cross-business teams to complex and multi-phase solutions (across technology, commercial, product and process design, network design and build).Strong experience in financial controls.Strong Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting purposes.Experience in a range of monthly financial reports and forecasting.If you feel you fit the requirements please submit your CV in the first instance.
