End User Security Analyst

My client who is based in London is looking for a End User Security Analyst to be based remotely for an initial 6 month contract.

This role is inside of IR35.

We are looking for a Junior engineer?with experience in end user device security with technical?knowledge of end user device security technologies (SSL-VPN, logging, Authentication, Patching, Software deployment, Windows operating systems, etc.). The role is to support the build and optimize existing security services to our local needs and to support the project architect and team?with the successful implementation of the solution and assist in documenting procedures and installation/configuration instructions.

Desired (project/industry) experience:

Experience in working on IT security?solutions?desirable, Working knowledge of SCCM and automation of OS and image building and deployment and Build standard deployment including language and country based specific standard software. Familiar with SSL VPN technology and Virtual Desktop solutions. Familiar with IoT in the home environment and the security challenges. "

Previous experience of compliance tracking based on logging and asset registration for the various security solutions. Support technical efforts to standardise endpoint builds, software deployment and AD management of Deloitte endpoint builds across over 11 countries. Experience of standardisation of the endpoint architecture from the security point of view with the end user technology teams within a large complex organisation desirable. Experience in helping to define good security for working from remote locations for extended periods of time (working from home scenario). Previous experience of building process and handing over to operational teams.

Background:

Does not need to be from a security back ground if has a lot of experience in end user devices, but security back ground with little understanding of end user devices may be challenging. If you have both that would be ideal.
