This is a fantastic opportunity to secure an initial 3 months contract as a Data Architect. Reporting to the Head of Business and System Architecture, the Integration Architect will be responsible for leading the architecture decisions for Integration architecture, platforms, and patterns that meet the Network Evolution needs and delivers the DCC's mission of delivering value for money to its customers, underpinned by a culture of transparency.

What you'll be doing:

Leading the analysis of DSP data requirements, data integration, and performing complex data mapping activities.Defining and architecting the end-to-end DSP data flow architecture and data management systems including migration.Deliver impact assessment of master data changes within end-to-end processes and data life cycle.Validation of current draft conceptual data models for DSP re-procurement design options and support further development into the logical data model.Solving the data engineering problems across the Network Evolution DSP big data ecosystem.Anticipating downstream consequences of change to DSP data and on other business areas and systemsWork with Lead Solution Architect and System Integration Specialist in ensuring interfaces are clearly designed and documented following best practices to ensure data integrity of the highest magnitude.What client is looking for:Experience working as a Chief Data Architect or Lead either in professional services, financial services, or the public sector / regulated environment (Energy & Utilities).Experience in designing and supporting the implementation of system/service integration for large or complex organisations and leading business areas through the development and execution of their strategy.Experience in articulating the business drivers and architectural approach/trade-offs during discussions for solution buy-in at various levels and gain consensus.Deep expertise in system engineering, architectural frameworks and concepts, methodologies and mapping standards and approaches i.e. integration patterns and interface definition and experience in the use of enterprise architecture tooling.Demonstrable experience shaping and directing complex pieces of work focused on distributed architecture over several deployment models i.e. On-premise, VPC, Cloud.Expert facilitator, drawing out problems, involving and gaining commitment from the relevant stakeholders in the business with credibility and gravitas to establish trust, gaining consensus and buy-in, orchestrating engagement and collaboration with senior leadership.Strategic, proactive and creative thinker, whilst grounded in the use of analysis tools and frameworks to solve problems, innovate and enable the development of strategic objectives and outcomes.Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical information, challenges, and requirements into easily understandable and digestible content in a confident and articulate way for mixed audiences.Kind RegardsOllie
