Senior Project ManagerBristol6 Months£550 p/day negotiable (inside IR35)My client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with experience of managing software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in the defence or maritime sector. This role is based in Bristol with potential to work remotely on occasion once established.

The successful candidate will join an existing and experienced team within the Technology Department. This department is a growing part of the business with a diverse portfolio of novel and interesting projects. We are looking for the suitable candidate to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and personal qualities.Experience Required:Proven background on a defence space systems integration project.Experience working to DO-178B safety standard.Embedded software implementation.Air or Maritime background.Key Accountabilities:

* Development and maintenance of positive engagement with project customers, partners and suppliers.

* Operating in a Safe & Secure manner.

* Application of governance requirements (including lifecycle, project & independent reviews as appropriate) for foundation sales and delivery work.

* Reporting progress on all accountabilities to programme / portfolio manager (or their delegate)Please submit your CV in the first instance.
